
ELIZABETH RAWLINS
Elizabeth Rawlins is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and an Atlanta native whose broadcast career has taken her on a 'tour de Georgia.'
The start of her career in 2012 as a WSB-TV intern propelled her into her first job as a reporter in Augusta, Georgia.
In 2013, she moved on to the Coastal Empire where she nurtured her craft from a MMJ (multimedia journalist) to investigative reporter before eventually becoming a weekday evening anchor.
Since retuning to her hometown in 2019, she has worked for both WAGA/FOX 5 Atlanta and WSB-TV.
In 2019, She earned a Southeast EMMY Award for her coverage of the C130 military plane crash that killed 9 airmen from Puerto Rico.
Additionally, she has received awards from the Associated Press and Georgia Association of Broadcasters for her dedication and excellence in breaking news events and investigative journalism.
Rawlins earned her B.A. in Mass Communication from Georgia College & State University and received her M.A in Education from the University of Georgia.
