Rawlins is an Atlanta native who began her broadcast career nearly 10 years ago in her hometown. She was thrilled to return in 2019 after spending nearly 7 years in Savannah at WTOC-TV where she was the weekday evening anchor and the lead investigative reporter.

Over the last decade Rawlins has spent significant time in the field covering dozens of historical weather events and breaking news stories. 

In 2019, she earned a Southeast EMMY Award for her coverage of the C130 military plane crash that killed 9 airmen from Puerto Rico.  

Rawlins has also received awards from the Associated Press and Georgia Association of Broadcasters for her dedication and excellence in covering breaking news events and investigative journalism.

Rawlins earned her B.A. in Mass Communication from Georgia College & State University and received her Masters from the University of Georgia.
